Mistakes To Be Avoided While Doing A Workout In The Gym

The biggest mistake people make while trying to pack muscle or lose fat is by doing more isolation work rather than overall body compound movements. Compound movements such as squats, dead lifts, and bench press should constitute at least 50 percent of the total work one is doing. This holds true for even females who want their bodies to be toned and tight.

YOU ARE OVER TRAINING

Over training has been a talked about subject in the fitness industry. Some believe there is no such thing that exists, but rationally thinking every machine needs rest for its efficiency to be at full potential. Even over usage of a machine for long periods of time show wear and tear, same is the case with the body. You need to train smart, not hard all the time.

Warm-ups are a must for any and every physical activity be it running, swimming or gym. Warming up makes the muscle ready for all the beating it takes during workouts. Trying to go heavy on the weights without a proper warm-up is the most dangerous thing. So, remember warm-ups are a must and cannot be ignored at any cost.

YOU ARE NOT DOING CORRECT FORM

Last, but not the least, the form is another aspect lifters go wrong, from advanced, intermediate to beginners. The form needs to be pinpoint whether you are lifting 5 kg or 100 kg. There is no room for error on it.
